My Honest Review of Medik8 Crystal Retinal 24
I’ve been using Medik8 Crystal Retinal for several years now and have gradually worked my way up through the different strengths.
After finishing my third tube of Crystal Retinal 20, I decided it was finally time to step up to the ultimate level and give the 24 a try. It’s more expensive (£109) but I took advantage of a 20% offer on Medik8 website to order it.
Using retinal consistently has genuinely transformed my skin. My texture is smoother, my complexion looks more refined and I know that in the long run, it’s helping to reduce the visible signs of ageing. I’m playing the long game here, and in a few decades I’ll be grateful I stuck with it.
What surprised me most about Crystal Retinal 24 is its bright orange colour which is a sign of the higher retinal concentration. Don’t worry though, it goes on clear and doesn’t stain your pillows or skin. I was half-expecting some dryness and maybe breakouts when I went from 20 to 24, but my skin handled the transition perfectly with no irritation at all.
If you’re thinking of upgrading, I’d definitely suggest taking your time. I’m glad I stayed at level 20 for a while before making the move, especially since 24 is the highest strength available right now.
Overall, I’m a huge Medik8 fan when it comes to anti-ageing skincare. My routine is pretty much all Medik8 at this point, from vitamin C to night cream.
