Medik8 Advanced Night Restore Review – Unsponsored

I’ve just finished my first jar of Medik8 Advanced Night Restore and here’s my honest review of this anti-ageing night cream. Spoiler: I’ve already ordered a second jar.

This review is not sponsored. I purchased the product myself and have never been gifted any Medik8 skincare.

About Medik8 Advanced Night Restore

Medik8 Advanced Night Restore is an evening moisturiser designed to target fine lines and wrinkles while you sleep.

Enriched with ceramides, this rich formula deeply nourishes the skin, visibly firms, and helps to replenish essential lipids, supporting a stronger skin barrier.

It is specifically formulated to enhance the anti-ageing benefits of vitamin A, making it the ideal moisturiser to follow after applying a retinol or retinal serum.

Who is Medik8 Advanced Night Restore for?

This night cream is ideal if you:

  • Are looking for an anti-ageing moisturiser to support your evening routine

  • Struggle with dehydration and need a rich, replenishing formula

  • Want to maximise the benefits of your retinol or retinal serum with a complementary moisturiser

What are the key ingredients and their benefits?

This cream features several standout ingredients:

  • Multi-Ceramide Complex: A blend of ceramides, phytosterol and fatty acids that mimics the skin’s lipid barrier, delivering deep nourishment and helping restore skin resilience

  • Midnight Antioxidant Complex: A combination of a cell-repairing peptide and antioxidants that neutralise free radicals, reducing visible signs of ageing

  • Saskatoon Berry: A Canadian superfruit that prevents the enzyme responsible for degrading hyaluronic acid, helping the skin retain moisture for a plumper look

  • N-Acetyl Glucosamine (NAG): A naturally occurring molecule that pairs well with retinol and retinal to stimulate the body’s own production of hyaluronic acid – a key reason why this cream is an ideal follow-up to Medik8 Crystal Retinal

Where to buy Medik8 Advanced Night Restore?

You can order Medik8 Advanced Night Restore online, directly on Medik8 website or via beauty retailers that often run discounts, such as Cult Beauty or Sephora. RRP: £59

Honest review of Medik8 Advanced Night Restore

At the time of writing, I’ve finished my first jar and have already reordered. Here’s why it has become a staple in my evening skincare routine:

  • It smooths fine lines effectively. I’ve noticed a visible softening of fine lines. They appear less pronounced and my skin looks more refined overall.

  • It keeps dehydration at bay. My skin is prone to dehydration and hyaluronic acid is essential in my routine. This formula not only helps prevent the breakdown of hyaluronic acid but also promotes its production, leaving my skin looking noticeably plumper by morning.

  • It has a rich yet non-greasy texture. Beyond results, I value how enjoyable a product is to apply. This cream feels like a comforting blanket for the skin – rich and nourishing but never heavy or greasy. It absorbs well and layers beautifully over serums.

  • It complements Crystal Retinal perfectly. As I focus more on an efficient, purposeful skincare routine, I appreciate that this cream is specifically designed to work alongside retinal. Having used Medik8 Crystal Retinal for over a year now, I was drawn to this cream for its compatibility – and it has delivered.

To conclude, Medik8 Advanced Night Restore has been an excellent addition to my skincare routine, particularly as a complement to Crystal Retinal. If you are looking for an anti-ageing night cream that delivers deep hydration, smooths fine lines and complements your vitamin A serum, this one is well worth trying.
