Honest Vieve makeup review
Skin Nova Primer
As someone who doesn’t wear much makeup, I love products that enhance rather than cover, and the Skin Nova Primer does exactly that. It gives my skin a fresh, healthy glow without feeling like I’m wearing anything at all.
I don’t wear foundation on a daily basis, so I love how this primer subtly evens out my complexion, making my skin look smoother and more radiant- like a my skin but better effect. It’s lightweight, hydrating and never greasy, which makes it perfect for my everyday routine.
On its own, it gives me just the right amount of glow, making me feel put-together without looking overly made-up.
RRP: £31 - Find it on Vieve, Cult Beauty or Sephora
Modern Radiance Concealer
I’ve struggled to find a concealer that truly works for me, but this one has been a game-changer.
It blends effortlessly into my skin, giving just the right amount of coverage while still looking natural. I love that it’s lightweight and never cakey, perfect to conceal imperfections.
Plus, it stays put throughout the day without creasing. It’s the first concealer that really ticks all the boxes for me! For reference, I have rather fair skin with freckles, and I got the shade Light 2 (cool pink).
RRP: £27 - Find it on Vieve, Cult Beauty or Sephora
Sunset Blush Balm
I love how effortlessly this blush melts into my skin, giving me the most natural, healthy-looking flush. I got the shade Rosa which is a soft, dusky pink that looks like my real cheeks—just a little more radiant and fresh.
It blends in so seamlessly that it never looks like I’m wearing blush, just like I’ve got naturally rosy, glowing skin.
The formula is lightweight and buildable, so I can keep it subtle or add more colour without it ever feeling heavy. It’s become my go-to for that effortless, no-makeup makeup look.
RRP: £24 - Find it on Vieve, Cult Beauty or Sephora
Modern Mascara
If you think a great vegan mascara doesn’t exist, you need to try this one. It adds length and volume to my lashes without any clumping, making them look naturally full and fluttery.
A little goes a long way, so just a few swipes give me the perfect amount of definition.
The formula lasts all day without smudging or flaking, which is a huge plus.
RRP: £26 - Find it on Vieve, Cult Beauty or Sephora
