Innisfree Cherry Blossom Glow Jam Cleanser review
I recently discovered Korean skincare brand Innisfree and bought one of their cleansers. Here’s my honest review of the Cherry Blossom Glow Jam Cleanser and why those with dullness-prone skin may want to try it too.
About Innisfree
Innisfree is a Korean brand founded in 2000 by Amore Pacific in Yongsan, Seoul. Blending responsibly sourced botanical ingredients with modern R&D, Innisfree skincare has been thriving to be both effective and affordable since the beginning.
The brand was inspired by the vision of Suh Kyung-bae, who drew influence from his mother’s homemade camellia-oil beauty treatments. Jeju Island was chosen as the brand’s foundation due to its unspoiled environment, rich volcanic soil and ideal climate, making it a perfect source of potent, naturally-derived ingredients.
A standout element of Innisfree’s product range is its use of Jeju Green Tea, rich in 16 amino acids that help support hydration and strengthen the skin barrier. Through a meticulous double-squeezing extraction process, Innisfree preserves the integrity and efficacy of this powerful ingredient.
The brand maintains a strong connection to Jeju Island through ingredients like volcanic clusters and cherry blossom, supporting local communities and practicing fair trade.
Is Innisfree cruelty-free and vegan?
Innisfree has been recently certified cruelty-free by PETA. The vast majority of their products are vegan, but a handful of them contain animal-derived ingredients.

You can also order your favourites via Korean Skincare, the European home of Korean beauty brands.
What are Innisfree’s best-sellers?
Along with the Cherry Blossom Glow Jam Cleanser, here are some of Innisfree’s most popular products that you may want to try:
Volcanic BHA Pore Cleansing Foam, perfect to gently exfoliate and improve skin texture.
Super Volcanic Pore Clay Mask to remove excess sebum, especially formulated for oily skin.
Green Tea Enzyme Vitamin C Brightening Serum, a must to revive dull skin and restore radiance.
Innisfree Cherry Blossom Glow Jam Cleanser
The Cherry Blossom Glow Jam Cleanser is a daily vegan cleanser that transforms from a bouncy jam-like texture into a soft, creamy foam. Infused with Jeju Cherry blossom extract, it helps brighten and hydrate the skin while sweeping away impurities, excess oil and makeup.
The formula also includes Betaine, a naturally derived humectant, to support the skin’s moisture barrier and leave it feeling soft and refreshed.
RRP: £13 - You can find it on Cult Beauty or Space NK
Which skin type is this cleanser for?
The Cherry Blossom Glow Jam Cleanser is suitable for all skin types, but the glow-boosting formula is particularly well-suited to dullness-prone, lacklustre complexions.
It’s worth noting that it is lightly fragranced, so if you have sensitive or reactive skin you may want to patch-test first.
Innisfree Cherry Blossom Glow Jam Cleanser review
I came across Innisfree when looking for an affordable cleanser on Cult Beauty. I was intrigued by the jelly texture described and thought the formula could be a fit for my dullness-prone complexion.
I’ve now been using it every day for two months and it’s quickly become a favourite. The jelly texture is such a pleasure to use, light and cushiony at first, then melts into a soft, creamy foam that spreads easily across the skin.
It feels instantly refreshing, especially at the end of the day, and it rinses off effortlessly without leaving any residue behind. My skin always feels properly cleansed, like it’s had a thorough reset, but without any tightness or dryness afterward. It’s not harsh, but still gives that satisfying, clean-skin feeling every time.
The scent is another thing I really enjoy. It’s subtly floral, unlike many cleansers that smell a little too “clean”. A little goes a long way, which makes the tube last ages and gives it excellent value for money.
For me, it ticks every box of what I want in a daily cleanser - it’s gentle, effective, enjoyable to use, and it just does the job really well!
